Read before use

An unsecured or incorrectly fitted load can come off the vehicle and cause a serious crash, injury or death. Read all warnings printed on the straps and supplied in the pack before use.

What it is

The Soft-Rack Attachment Kit carries a Remora Velocity 2.0 bag on a vehicle with no roof bars. The kit's straps run through the cabin and hold the bag to the roof.

It is a different way of carrying a board, and it comes with tighter limits than the roof-bar setup. They are not fine print.

The limits

• One board only
• Maximum board weight 7 kg
• Maximum speed 80 km/h
• Framed-window doors only — a metal frame fully surrounding the glass
• Not for frameless windows, convertibles, targa or removable-roof vehicles
• Works with the Velocity 2.0 bag in M or L only — not the XL, and not Velocity 1
• Straps must not cross or block any airbag, or stop a door closing or an emergency exit

Check your vehicle handbook. If it says your vehicle is not suitable for soft racks, do not use this kit.

The printed guide supplied in your pack is the definitive fitting instruction. Follow it.

Re-check tension before every trip, after the first five minutes of driving, and at every stop.

The Soft-Rack Attachment Kit is sold in Portugal. It isn't available in Australia — not because we're precious about it, but because selling it here means putting specific cover and compliance in place first, and we'd rather do that properly than quickly.
